Freshness Test
Look for plump garlic heads. If garlic is old, it will soft and usually it will have gone moldy.
You can grow your own garlic quite easily.
Important
Garlic is quite strong, as you probably already know. I personally never juice more than 1 clove of garlic.
General
Garlic is very high in sulfur which is an important nutrient for the skin. Garlic is also used traditionally as a natural anti–biotic. In fact, during World War I, medics used Garlic for anti–biotic purposes.
In fact, before "modern medicine", people had other ways of doing things. As an example, my uncle who is from Slovakia told me how when a person had a cut, they would let some bread go moldy and then apply the moldy bread to the wound. Little did they know they were making penicillin, but that's what they did.
In the mid 1800's, there was a major anthrax outbreak in Germany. All the sheep, shepherds and sheepdogs had anthrax poisoning. So a German homeopathic vet created the first homeopathic nosode for anthrax known as "Anthracinum". This vet cured all of the sheep, sheepdogs and shepherds. Unfortunately, homeopathic remedies do not make as much money as pharmaceuticals nor can a homeopathic remedy be patented. As a result, these remedies are not embraced by the medical community.
There is great knowledge that is being suppressed in the name of profit, but there is no rule that says we have to remain suppressed!
Anyway, back to the garlic... many people have a little bit of Garlic when they have a cold as garlic adds some "heat" to the body, kills bacteria, etc. Garlic will also help expel phlegm (so will raw peanuts). But if you have a cold and need to expel some phlegm, try eating a clove of garlic (:
I like to juice Garlic first and then juice other vegetables to help remove the smell from my juicer. I like to use parsley or other chlorophyll rich vegetables after juicing Garlic. The reason why is because chlorophyll helps to remove the smell of Garlic.

Have you been wanting to do hatha yoga (stretching) but have found it either too difficult or you are not that flexible? If yes, and even if no, watch Jesse do some pure hatha yoga routines.
Unlike flow yoga
, each pose in pure or traditional hatha yoga is held for a few minutes. While holding the pose, you focus the mind on the stretch. When you focus the mind, that's when you find silence.
Jesse is not flexible — never has been and probably never will be flexible like others. But it doesn't matter. In pure hatha yoga, how flexible you are makes no difference. It's all about loving the pose and focussing the mind on the stretch.
If you want to learn pure hatha yoga, now you can by following Jesse on a series of hatha yoga routines.
