Important

Aloe vera juice will naturally begin to go rancid fast. Aloe vera juice needs to be stabilized with something like vitamin C. As a result, instead of juicing aloe vera yourself, I would personally suggest you buy aloe vera juice from your local health food store and then add it to your juice or drink it separately.

General

Most people don't realize that an immature aloe vera plant does not have the same amount of benefits as a mature aloe vera plant. An immature aloe vera plant has white spots on it while the mature aloe vera plant is a solid green color.

You can buy aloe vera juice or aloe vera gel. I personally prefer the juice because it is easier to mix into juice or water. Meanwhile, aloe vera gel is better used topically on the skin. Saying that though, you can still mix aloe vera gel into a drink and you can still use aloe vera juice topically. It's all a matter of personal preference. But since the aloe vera juice is not as thick, it can be more easily mixed while aloe vera gel is thicker making it easier to apply topically.

While many people think cold pressed aloe vera juice is the best, some say that you actually need some heat to open the cells of the aloe vera plant so the medicinal benefits can come out. Unfortunately, most aloe vera juice products on the market will be cold pressed but if you can find one that uses some heat to extract the juice then you might find it is better.

Aloe vera has many benefits and while juicing aloe vera yourself is a little bit difficult, it's always a good idea to have an aloe vera plant growing in your house. There are just so many benefits to an aloe vera plant that it would be impossible to list them all. But as an example, if you have a cold sore, break off part of an aloe vera leaf, apply some of the aloe vera gel to your cold sore and then the cold sore will disappear within 24 hours. If you don't have your own aloe vera plant, then use some of the aloe vera gel you buy from the store.

Hatha Yoga

Have you been wanting to do hatha yoga (stretching) but have found it either too difficult or you are not that flexible? If yes, and even if no, watch Jesse do some pure hatha yoga routines.

Unlike flow yoga, each pose in pure or traditional hatha yoga is held for a few minutes. While holding the pose, you focus the mind on the stretch. When you focus the mind, that's when you find silence.

Jesse is not flexible — never has been and probably never will be flexible like others. But it doesn't matter. In pure hatha yoga, how flexible you are makes no difference. It's all about loving the pose and focussing the mind on the stretch.

If you want to learn pure hatha yoga, now you can by following Jesse on a series of hatha yoga routines.
